Retention risk in WorkYield is not a personality score and not a prediction about anyone's intent to leave. It's a pattern flag based on measurable changes in someone's own work signals over time.

  • Reduced cross-functional collaboration vs the person's own baseline
  • Sharp decline in response latency or async participation in owned channels

What it does

Surfaces a private nudge to the contributor and an aggregated trend to their manager: "this person's delivery pattern has changed — worth a 1:1."

What it never does

No content analysis, no sentiment scoring on messages, no automated HR action. The flag is a conversation starter, not a verdict.

Why I built WorkYield

I'm an HR & recruitment professional who spent years helping growing companies build leadership teams. The same painful conversation kept repeating in every debrief — managers couldn't separate the people doing the work from the people talking about the work.

Every existing answer made it worse. Surveillance tools tracked keystrokes and mouse jiggles. Survey platforms measured vibes. None of them answered the actual question a CEO asks at the board meeting: who is moving the company forward?

WorkYield is the tool I always wished existed when I was placing executives — one that measures contribution from the artifacts people already create, without ever watching them work.

Can my boss read my Slack messages through WorkYield?

No. We have no access to message content — only metadata: that a message was sent, in which channel, when, and between whom.

What if I don't want my data included?

Opt out entirely or pause collection from your personal dashboard. Your manager sees only anonymized team data.

How is this different from employee monitoring software?

Monitoring tools record screens, track keystrokes, and read content. WorkYield analyzes work patterns — like GitHub's commit activity, but across your whole stack.

Where is my data stored?

You choose: US (us-east-1), EU (eu-west-1), or APAC (ap-southeast-1). Data never leaves your selected region.

Can we delete our data?

Yes. Account admins can request full deletion at any time. Completed within 30 days with a certificate of destruction.

Who owns the data?

You do. WorkYield is a data processor; your company is the data controller.
